Facilities which manufacture small diecast products in robotic cells
can reduce labor cost and forklift traffic by incorporating a small
metal shredder into the production line and allowing the robot to break the
part from the skeleton. The skeleton is immediately shredded into a
product ready for remelt or efficient transport.
