The Komar Auger Compactor provides the ability to shred and compact in a single machine. The large diameter tapered auger with teeth easily pulls in bulky items and shreds them. The auger continuously extrudes the shredded product into the receiving container with significantly more force than a conventional ram compactor. The combination of shredding and the higher compaction force results in higher density loads.
